God wants to give to you and bless you abundantly.
You will find this promise that God is a giver in perhaps the most famous, well-known verse in the
whole Bible. Even people who don’t read the Bible have heard of it.
"For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life” John 3:16 (NLT).
When we hear this verse, it’s easy to focus on the end and the promise of eternal life, but I want you to consider the “other” promise. I want you to consider the power it contains.
“For God loved the world so much that He gave.”
Because God loves so greatly, He gives so abundantly. Loving and giving go hand in hand. You can’t separate one from the other.
Most people have no problem believing the second half of John 3:16, but I’ve found that many have a hard time accepting the promise in Romans 8:32...that God will “give us everything else.”
When God gave His Son, He wasn’t just giving you a ticket to heaven.
It’s about the quality too. It’s abundant life now, in this life.
I want to encourage you today. We want you to know that God loves to give! Whatever you’re facing right now, God already has the perfect solution lined up for you. If you’re in need of physical healing, God is ready to give! If you’re in need of financial help, God is ready to give! If you’re in need of life direction, God is ready to give!
He wants to give to you because He loves you. He’s not waiting for you to be perfect before He blesses you. Focus on how big God’s love is for you. When you do this, you will see incredible results.
